Training... well that's a little complicated. Always start with the basics obviously. Then you continue to build on that. Never give the dog too much at one time. Remember a great dog is not trained over night, or even over one year. It takes a lot of patients, and spending time working on it even when it feels like a chore. Remember, the benefits are priceless.

I hope in this section that you will learn what animal cruelty is. I also hope that it will motivate you to stop cruelty and report it if you know it is happening.
- Please socialize your dog! It is important for the development of your dog to be socialized. This is your job as a dog parent. It is important to be social with other dogs, experience all types of people, hats, no hats, jackets, hoodies, all cultures and races, all types of weather, sounds, environments etc. Socialize for better health!
- Give your dog some type of exercise. This will ultimately balance it's life and let your dog get rid of unwanted toxic energy. Take it to the next level and give your dog a job. Something that pleases you and your dog. This way you both will look forward to this activity and the time that you spend together.
- Be consistent in training, so that your dog will clearly know and understand what you want. This takes time, but you must have boundaries and limitations. These must be in place all the time no matter what the circumstance. Again, draw a clear line of boundaries. Be consistent, and keep your vocal commands and energy the same so the dog may learn through consistency.
- Give your dog the love and attention he or she needs . Please do not make this the foundation for your relationship though. How can a dog define you as a firm leader with love and affection only. This dog counts on you for everything, exercise, balance, food, nutrition, bed time, a job, love, attention..etc. The needs of a balanced dog is a lot, make sure you make a commitment. That is the only way your dog will make the commitment in return.
Please I urge you to report any kind of animal cruelty you may witness or even be a part of. You report these crimes and remain anonymous if you wish. Please, whatever you do... report cruelty if you have witnessed it. Animal abuse, neglect, starvation, deprivation etc... please help us stop this.
I hear so many people say... "It's just a dog!" "I mean I feel bad, but at the end of the day, it's just a dog..."
Since when is a dog... just a dog? Never. Path of least resistance is to just dismiss it and look away. Dogs are our family, they are bred by us to be family. They love us unconditional. They protect some of us. Saved some of our lives. They are what we make them, period. Dogs aim to please us, and they do ultimately what we ask them to do.
